In March 2022, Dive Deep’s inaugural, in-person and interactive exhibit took place at Cornerstone Community Center. The exhibit consisted of seven different immersive stations, each tackling a different aspect of ocean sustainability and how it relates to the climate crisis.

Volunteers ranged from adults to high school students running each station which allowed volunteers to utilize their skills and interests in selecting those tasks they would be best at.

Stations included out-of-the-box elements such as satellite data programs tracking fishing vessels, interacting with physical models of gillnets, learning how bycatch occurs by driving a mimic fishing vessel and many more, each providing plausible steps for citizens to learn more and make an impact.

Dive Deep’s mission to spread awareness of marine conservation issues and provide opportunities for citizens to take direct everyday action has driven us to set up interactive exhibits that immerse guests in these issues.
